Jr.NTR, Ileana’s much anticipated film Shakti is now releasing on 1st April and the Tamil version will hit the screens on 2nd April. The movie was supposed to release on 30th March but was postponed due to India Vs Pakistan World Cup match which takes place on the same day.

Shakti has completed its censor formalities and has been acquired A certificate with few minor cuts from the Censor Board officials. Touted as the highest budgeted film of Tollywood, Shakti is a socio-fantasy film, where the story moves around the Shakti Peethams. Shakti has already started doing great business with its distribution rights across the state and the Ceded region alone is said to have made a business of 10 Crores. Directed by Meher Ramesh and produced by Ashwini Dutt, the film has music by Mani Sharma.
